Q.Are your patios easy to build?
A.Yes. If you are handy or know someone who is, together with out comprehensive tailored instructions, you should soon be enjoying your new patio. We also run regular DIY workshops at our premises to provide assistance in building your structure. You can normally do it by yourself (except the regal range due to the weight of the panels), but you will find it is much easier if you have a helper.
Many of the patios in different ranges have profiles posts and brackets that self align with each other, as well as profiled positions for fixings positions.

Q.What if I don't want to build it myself?
A.We can send you a list of builders with patio building experience for you to contact that pass on special rates for our customers.

Q.What wind rating are the patios designed for?
A.Since over 90% of Australia is designated Region A, we price our advertised buildings to this wind speed. We can also design and price your structure for intermediate (Region B) and cyclonic regions (Region C).

Q.Do I need to get council approval?
A.Your patio cover will generally require approval from your local council and we will supply you with the necessary engineering specifications to submit to your local authority.

Q.What is the difference in the patio ranges?
A.The Regent Range - is a range of more economical options with flat and gable roofs with corrugated or double sided sheeting on the roof. This range does allow for some of its designs to be in the full colour range of colorbond sheeting (to match your house) and all have steel posts and beams.

The Premium Range - is a high quality range of patios double sided colourbond high gloss (80%) sheeting, with aluminium profiled frame, with stainless steel components and fasteners. These come in feature gable and flat roof designs. Duse to the savings Shedstrong can offer, you will be surprised that such quality can be so affordible.

The Regal range - is our insulated range using insulated double sided panel again with aluminium profiled frame and stainless steel components. We believe that this is the best patio in the market and at massive savings over other premium suppliers. The panel comes in 50mm, 75mm and 90mm thick sheeting allowing for different levels of coolness and spanning capacities.
