Q.Are there any extra costs?
A.Delivery is an extra if it is not priced on the quote. Delivery may only be possible to a depot of your choice depending on the remoteness of your site.
We only supply the building in Kit form. You will have to organise a builder or do it yourself.

Q.Are the kits easy to Build?
A.Most of our clients erect their own sheds with the help of the construction guide.
If you have any queries our Customer Service Dept will assist you and additional help is available from our Engineering Dept.
    ~ In some areas we have a list of contractors that you can deal with direct and they can price the construction for you.
    ~ Our customer service Dept is also available to your local builder if you choose to use them.

Q.What is the Lasting Quality of your building?
A.All materials are covered with the manufactures warranty. These can be checked by using the links that are provided on this site. Shed Strong only use Bluescope genuine Zincalume ® and Colorbond® high tensile steel.

Q.What are dispatch details of my shed?
A.We dispatch our product from 23 locations around Australia. Delivery charges apply dependant on the site location. Some remote area are better serviced by your local  courier and we will advise you if that is necessary.
   ~ You shed should be dispatch in approx 21days from receipt of the second payment and return of all paperwork.

Q.Do I need Council Approval.
A.In most cases you will need council approval. We allow you the Engineering details of your building with 10% deposit. Your job is then reserved until you notify us, in writing, that its been approved and a further 40% deposit is payed. We have never had to refund a deposit as we work with you and your council but if it is not approved your deposit is refunded on notification of refusal from the council.
 
Q.Does my building require Maintenance?
A.Minimum maintenance is required as your building is manufactured from Zincalume® and Colorbond® high tensile Steel designed for Australian Conditions. An occasional wash with fresh water will keep it looking its best. The Link to Lysaghts Web page will give the manufactures recommendations.

Q.What wind rating is my shed?
A.All buildings are supplied in accordance with AS4055 for your area and as most are in Region A will have an N2 specification. Region B,C and D are also catered for if required.

Q.Can I have a building designed to my own Specification?
A.Your Shed. Your Choice is our motto. We will give you all the assistance we can to provide you with exactly what you want.

Q.Does my shed require a Concrete Floor?
A.All our building can be erected on footings. If you then need to concrete the floor area at a latter date it can be done. All building come with footing designs for A,S and M soils.

Q.How do I know that the delivery is complete.
A.Our suppliers go to a great deal of trouble for you to ensure that your order is complete. Photos are taken of the delivery pack before leaving the plant  and the pack is delivered with the order that we placed. If something is missing, a call to our customer service dept within 7 days of delivery will rectify the situation. It is suggested that when the shed arrives you check it off against your bill of materials and report any shortfalls.
